Kidsgo test families award ‘good’ rating to Recaro Zero.1 i-Size
In early 2018, five families evaluated the Recaro Zero.1 i-Size during a product test conducted by the German parenting magazine Kidsgo. With this rear-facing child seat, the test families were impressed above all by its 360 degree rotating function, which let them get the child in and out of the car with particular ease; they rated this aspect with a straight 1.0 score, the maximum possible. In addition, the longer period of rear-facing usage (up to ca. 4.5 years old) also received a rating of ‘very good’. In the categories of safety, user friendliness, quality, and design, the Recaro Zero.1 i-Size similarly scored ratings of ‘good’ to ‘very good’ across the board. According to test participant Daniela from Munich: ‘The materials used are all very high quality and robust. Even on warmer days, our son wasn’t sweating—which is a giant plus.’ Kathrin from Stuttgart further stated: ‘It’s great that this seat also fits into my little car. The installation is easy and the design is super!’ The participants were unanimous in recommending this child seat.
It was through the website of Kidsgo magazine that interested families could apply to take part in this large-scale product test. Five families with children aged three to twelve months were ultimately chosen to put the Recaro Zero.1 i-Size through its paces over several weeks. Since its market launch in 2016, this child seat with integrated Isofix connector has received multiple honours, including ‘Best Product 2015/2016’ at the Plus X Awards, and also in the June 2017 child seat test by Stiftung Warentest (a rating of ‘good’ in the category i-Size, 40 to 150 cm).
